An update by Chrome has caused the browsersoft phone located inside of Analytic Call Tracking to fail.

Twilio has released a statement concerning this: http://ahoy.twilio.com/webrtc_service_advisory

Solution:

Your Analytic Call Tracking application will now require an SSL to be installed on your domain.

If you are getting the message, "cannot authenticate" or are having trouble getting past this step while upgrading to ACT 2.0, please make sure that you are entering the email that you used to purchase ACT with originally. If you enter a different email it will not recognize it and you will be unable to get into your site. If you are certain that you are using the email you bought ACT with and are still having issues authenticating your upgrade, please submit a support ticket. 

If you will be using International Dialing for ACT you will first need to enable this in Twilio.

Please follow this steps to setup International Dialing:

1. Log into your Twilio Account

2. Fill Out Twilio's International Dialing Permission Form found here: https://www.twilio.com/user/account/settings/international

3. Select which countries you would like international dialing permission for by clicking the box next to the country and click on request access.

4. Purchase an international number (in ACT for UK & Canada)

5. In ACT select International Number under call flow settings

6. Test your international number

If you have followed these steps and are still experiencing issues please go ahead and submit a support ticket, please include your ACT URL as well as Twilio Access.

 

Submit A Ticket

If you are getting this error, it means that you do not have your Twilio Account SID and/or Auto Token setup properly in your config.php file. 

To check this, go into your cPanel file manager for your ACT URL and find the "include" folder. 

Inside the "include" folder, find the "config.php" file, right-click on it, and select "code edit". 

Inside the config.php file, there are two fields at the bottom where you must enter your Twilio SID and Auth Token.

Login to your Twilio member page and you can find these credentials at the top of the page.

Copy and paste them into the correct fields within the "config.php" file and click save. Then, refresh the file page. 

If you have done this and are still getting an error, please submit a support ticket.  

 

If you have godaddy and you're getting the following message:

You're getting this issue because of a permission issue with godaddy.

To solve this, create a '.htaccess' file in your /api/ folder of ACT, and put in:

ACT Login Problem Using FatCow Hostingfatcow

If you are experiencing login issues with your ACT URL, and you are utilizing FatCow Hosting, you need to contact their support department.

Ask them to make sure that they have your ‘session path’ set for PHP. This should resolve any login issues you are experiencing with your Analytic Call Tracking URL.

If you are interested in switching between Adwords accounts when in PPCbizbox it's easy to do, just follow the steps below:

If you are getting the error: "ERROR, a connection failure occurred" when setting up your ACT phone App, please check the following:

If you are using an iPhone, make sure you are on version iOS7 or above.

Also, please make sure you are adding your cell phone number (not the Twilio number) inside the mobile app settings.

If you are, and still having issues, please send over your ACT login credentials, as well as your cPanel URL and login credentials.

If you are not receiving email notifications for your calls, please check these things first...

1. Test your gmail credentials

2. Change to an email other than gmail in your ACT settings

3. Check you spam folder

If you have done these three things, and are still not getting any email notifications, please submit a ticket. 

If you get a 404 error when clicking on the link, check and make sure you have the permalinks set from default to post name.

This can be found under settings > permalinks.

If you are experiencing issues with receiving leads it can be 1 of 2 things...

1. Your results contain duplicate listings which have been filtered out. Your search campaign needs to contain broader keywords or more keywords, use of title & body, additional sections. You can do this by going to your campaign, clicking edit, and viewing their keyword, and cities.

2. If there are less than you have in ALR, this is due to Craigslist taking the listings down due to spam and unwanted listings. ALR will acquire all listings 7 days from creation. So if the campaign was created october 31, it will grab all of the listings in the sections they have selected from the 24th and continue to bring them leads.

If you have taken both of these factors into account, and still feel you are not pulling the leads you should. Please submit a support ticket. 

NOTE: This solution is only for version 2.0 and does not apply to 2.0.1 and above.

 

If you are using a folder for your install and you're having trouble with accessing any ACT apps, please try the following:

Please edit the .htaccess file in your /api folder of your ACT installation using FTP or cPanel's File Manager.

On line #6, you will see:

There are a number of ways you can utilize Auto Lead Reach. However, we want to make sure that users are aware of a few "best practices" that will help them get the most out of the program. Below are a number of common mistakes, and remedies, to make sure your campaigns are optimized to their full potential. 

Creating Campaigns...

When setting up campaigns in Auto Lead Reach, it is important that you are careful with how many areas you set up in your campaign that you want to search Craigslist for. We recommend setting up a separate campaign for each area you are targeting. You do not want to just add as many cities / areas as you can to one campaign. Doing this will likely cause the email associated with your campaign to be flagged as spam by Craigslist, and your emails will not be inboxed to the people who created the posts that you are trying to respond to. Your campaign may say "email sent", however, they will not be received. Here is an example of a campaign that is setup to target a specific area (Palm Beach County)...

 

Notice, how the "Search Cities" are all concentrated on areas in Palm Beach / South Florida. 

Here is an example of how you DO NOT want to have it setup...

 

Again, create your campaigns so that they are targeted for a specific area. 

Additionally, when you are entering your search terms, you want to make sure you are specific in what you are searching, and do not put in too many terms.

Creating & Assigning Emails...

Auto Lead Reach integrates with the following email providers...

When you create a campaign, you will need to assign an email account to. This is the email that your campaign leads will be emailed from. To set this up, you need to login and go to "Email Responder" and then hit "New Email Address". 

You'll then see a page where you enter your Email settings. Here is an example of a gmail setup...

 

Once you have these fields fileld out, you need to hit the "Test Address" button at the bottom of the page. If you are getting an "SMTP Error" Message, you need to click the link to enable your emails to send...

 

After your email address has been successfully setup, you need to assign it to your campaign. To do this, you need to go to your campaign, click "edit" and select the email address you have setup. IMPORTANT: You will want to create a separate email for each campaign you have setup in Auto Lead Reach. The reason for this is so that you are not flagged as spam by CL for sending out a large number of emails for multiple campaigns from one email address. 

Spinning Your Email Templates...

ALR is designed to send a lot of emails out to your leads, so, it is critical that your email templates (the message you are sending out in the body of your email) are being spun so that the messages vary when they are being sent to your leads. 

Article spinning requires "spintax." Spintax (or spin syntax) is the list of text, sentences, or synonyms that are embedded into an article. To create an article out of spintax, spinning software substitutes the desired synonym choices into the selected article in order to create a new, unique variation of the base article. However, because each article is created from the same set of spintax, each new spin of that article will be slightly less unique as the number of spins increases.

Automatic rewriting can change the meaning of a sentence through the use of words with similar but subtly different meaning to the original. For example, the word "picture" could be replaced by the word "image" or "photo." Thousands of word-for-word combinations are stored in either a text file or database thesaurus to draw from. This ensures that a large percentage of words are different from the original article.

Here is the syntax format to use...

Format: {text1|text2|text3}  Example: {Hi|Hello|Good Day|Greetings} {I|my associate|our company} {looked at|checked out|saw|read|reviewed} your {listing|ad}.

Q: What are the safeguards so the same post isn't hit over and over with emails?  More specifically, when I set the "notification" to daily, weekly, etc, is that how often that post gets sent an email- or when I get notified about the emails that are sent out? A: ALR only emails these leads once, as soon as they are posted. After that, they do not email that specific lead again. 

Q: How long does it take to get leads once I enable and start my campaign in ALR?

A: When you test your new campaign in ALR, you will see a list of previous post leads that match the criteria you have setup. However, when you enable and activate your campaign, it will not pull those old leads. ALR will only pull new posts once you activate the campaign. ALR refreshes these new posts every 30 minutes. So, there will not be any leads until at least 10 minutes after you start your campaign.

Syndwire changed the backend process in which we post to Blogger due to multiple authentication issues.

Previously, users would add new Blogger accounts by connecting with our API and needing to login to blogger to add each account.

The new posting method allows the user to post using email. This is a setting which will require accounts to setup “posting by email” prior to adding the account in Syndwire.

Users who have existing accounts in Syndwire experiencing authentication issues can still be re-authenticated using the API.

However, as a permanent posting solution, we suggest that you modify your Blogger accounts and add them using the new method. Many users are frustrated from having to re-authenticate - this is a permanent solution which will not lose authentication.

Go to ADMIN >> MANAGE COMPANIES >> Click desired Company

From there you will see a screen pop where you enter the URL's for Call Recordings and Whispers

Below that you will see a box with text next to it that states:

Disable Recordings for this Company

This will disable recordings for the particular company.

No, you do not need to create a set of accounts for each video.

We do recommend creating a set of accounts per client or affiliate product, but if you have multiple videos for the client or affiliate product, you can post them on the same set of accounts.

 

 

 

Unfortunately there isn't a way to completely avoid the same city when spinning titles.

Spintax is completely random so there will always be the chance that a city is chosen more than once.

However, we do recommend that when you spin the title, you spin for more cities than accounts you have.

As an example, if you spin for 30 different cities and you only have 20 different accounts, this will reduce the number of duplicates you will receive. 

If you are trying to edit your company names inside ACT Enterprise, you'll need to access the phpMyAdmin section in your cPanel.

Once you are in your pHpMyAdmin, you will need to locate the "companies" table on the left hand side of the page.

From there, click the "edit" button next to the company name, and change it to what you want.

After you have saved the change in your database, you will see the name change reflected in ACT Enterprise.

If you are having any issues editing your company names inside ACT Enterprise, please let us know.

Currently, there is no option to modify a company name inside ACT SaaS, but if you really need to make a change please submit a ticket at https://support.web1.co

Email License Not Working

 

Try contacting your hosting provider and ask if they can unblock the server address 66.85.179.226. Your email is likely in our system, but it can not be called because of your host blocking it.

Most likely for security reasons your provider blocks all external URL's which are addressed with the PHP/Perl command "fopen" or "curl" (allow_url_fopen). If you ask them they should be able to unblock it for you. Then the license should go through.

If you are trying to use a local host, you may run into this issue as well, try opening up your firewall and allowing access to our server request, we can not guarantee support however while working on a local host.

The second reason could be your htaccess file. Please contact your host about looking into this. Every website has a htaccess file in their root directory that grants access and permissions.

 

If you have purchased a subscription to ACT Enterprise, and do not yet see the features activated in your ACT dashboard, make sure you go to "Admin" > "ACT Settings" > Then, at the bottom of the page, click "Reauthorize Account". This will activate your Enterprise features.

If you are getting the message "It looks like this domain is not pointed to your hosting account. Please check the DNS settings for this domain" when trying to make a clone, make sure that your domain name is using the nameserver of your web hosting provider or your domain has an A record that points to your web hosting IP address.

Please note that changing your DNS may take a while to propagate but you can lower your TTL settings to make the DNS change take effect quickly.

Also note of the terminology below:

Domain Registrar - Where you purchased/registered the domain name (eg. GoDaddy) Usually, domain registrar offers DNS management feature but if not, you can use a different DNS manager such as Cloudflare.

Web Hosting Provider / cPanel - This is where the site content is stored, (eg. A2 Hosting) You can usually see your web hosting IP address on the cPanel's main page but if you can't see it, you may contact your web hosting support to help you find it.

Domain Registrar and Web Hosting must be connected in order for the site to display on your exampledomain.com

Pointing to web hosting nameservers usually work but we recommend pointing to the host's IP address using A record.

If you clone a site on Launchpad, it will be either main domain, subdomain or add-on domain. The important thing is the domain name must have an A record that points to the Web Host / cPanel's IP address.

If you have a specific website/domain that are having issues with cloning, please let us know and we will gladly help you.

Facebook has a policy which requires any website to have a privacy policy.

If you do not have a privacy policy or do not have one properly setup, Facebook will alert you as shown below at developers.facbeook.com.

If you are clicking on your FB Connect Button on your WP Page, and nothing is happening, please make sure you have the App Enabled in your FB App Settings page. 

To do this, please login to your FB Developers Page, find the Application you are editing, and then click on "Status & Review". 

From there, you need to make sure the Application is set to Available: 

 

Next, When you are entering your App Domain names it is essential to type in your domain again where your WP installation is located. 

If the "Apps Domain" field is filled out incorrectly you will receive the following error...

"Site URL, Mobile URL, Canvas URL, Secure Canvas URL, Page Tab URL or Secure Page Tab URL"

This means that your App domain does not match the site URL entered in the last step. If it is incorrect, a small, red triangle will appear. 

If you are sure your App domain name matches your WP URL, and you are still having trouble with your FB Connect button, please let us know. 

Make sure to include your WP URL and login credentials, as well as your cPanel login information so we can debug the issue as quickly as possible. 

If you have done this, and your FB Connect button is still unresponsive, please submit a support ticket including your WP URL and login. 

There are a number of ways you can utilize FSBomber. However, we want to make sure that users are aware of a few "best practices" that will help them get the most out of the program. Below are a number of common mistakes, and remedies, to make sure your campaigns are optimized to their full potential. 

Creating Campaigns...

When setting up campaigns in FBSBomber, it is important that you are careful with how many areas you set up in your campaign that you want to search Craigslist for. We recommend setting up a separate campaign for each area you are targeting. You do not want to just add as many cities / areas as you can to one campaign. Doing this will likely cause the email associated with your campaign to be flagged as spam by Craigslist, and your emails will not be inboxed to the people who created the posts that you are trying to respond to. Your campaign may say "email sent", however, they will not be received. Here is an example of a campaign that is setup to target a specific area (Palm Beach County)...

 

Notice, how the "Search Cities" are all concentrated on areas in Palm Beach / South Florida. 

Here is an example of how you DO NOT want to have it setup...

 

Again, create your campaigns so that they are targeted for a specific area. 

Additionally, when you are entering your search terms, you want to make sure you are specific in what you are searching, and do not put in too many terms.

Creating & Assigning Emails...

FSBomber integrates with the following email providers...

gmail.com, yahoo.com, yahoomail.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com, windowlive.com, aol.com, me.com, mac.com and icloud.com.

When you create a campaign, you will need to assign an email account to. This is the email that your campaign leads will be emailed from. To set this up, you need to login and go to "Email Responder" and then hit "New Email Address". 

 

Once you have these fields fileld out, you need to hit the "Test Address" button at the bottom of the page. If you are getting an "SMTP Error" Message, you need to click the link to enable your emails to send...

 

After your email address has been successfully setup, you need to assign it to your campaign. To do this, you need to go to your campaign, click "edit" and select the email address you have setup. IMPORTANT: You will want to create a separate email for each campaign you have setup in FSBomber. The reason for this is so that you are not flagged as spam by CL for sending out a large number of emails for multiple campaigns from one email address. 

Spinning Your Email Templates...

FSB is designed to send a lot of emails out to your leads, so, it is critical that your email templates (the message you are sending out in the body of your email) are being spun so that the messages vary when they are being sent to your leads. 

Article spinning requires "spintax." Spintax (or spin syntax) is the list of text, sentences, or synonyms that are embedded into an article. To create an article out of spintax, spinning software substitutes the desired synonym choices into the selected article in order to create a new, unique variation of the base article. However, because each article is created from the same set of spintax, each new spin of that article will be slightly less unique as the number of spins increases.

Automatic rewriting can change the meaning of a sentence through the use of words with similar but subtly different meaning to the original. For example, the word "picture" could be replaced by the word "image" or "photo." Thousands of word-for-word combinations are stored in either a text file or database thesaurus to draw from. This ensures that a large percentage of words are different from the original article.

Here is the syntax format to use...

Format: {text1|text2|text3} 
Example: {Hi|Hello|Good Day|Greetings} {I|my associate|our company} {looked at|checked out|saw|read|reviewed} your {listing|ad}.

The more you are able to spin your email templates, the better you will be able to avoid getting blocked by Craigslist.

If you're getting a busy signal or a recording saying the line is busy, your phone number may have been added to a blacklist.

Log in to your ACT installation and hover over "Admin" and then click on "Manage Companies".

In the top right, click on "Blacklists". Here you will see all of the blacklists. Check and make sure your number doesn't appear on any of the blacklists.

If your number is on a blacklist, just click in the column labeled "Numbers" and in the pop up window, highlight and delete your number from the blacklist. Don't forget to click the "Save" button.

If you are seeing a white screen when you login to ACT, it is most likely being caused by a corrupted database or your PHP version is not supported.

If you have call data on your installation, you'll need to make a backup of the database, and then re-upload the calltrack.sql file in your phpMyAdmin. 

If you don't have any call data, and this is a fresh install, you can simply delete the database you setup during installation, and create a new one with a fresh calltrack.sql file. 

Also, please check your php version to be setup at 5.4/5.6 since this is what we currently recommend for ACT.


This should take care of the blank white screen issue you see after logging in.

If you would like to change the Caller ID number that shows up when a call is forwarded to a client please follow these steps:


Go to the ADMIN tab


Then go to MANAGE COMPANIES


From there you will see a column that says CALLER ID


The default for this is "none" - from there you add the number that you wish the client to see when a call comes in.


Be sure to add a + and the country code of the number.


If you have done this and are still running into issues with the Caller ID please contact support.

Unfortunately, you cannot remove numbers from directly inside ACT.

If you are trying to remove a number from your ACT installation, you'll need to take the following steps.

You must login to your Twilio account, and contact their support team to cancel the number and have it removed from your account.

Once this is done, the number will no longer be reflected in your ACT.

For example, you have a base video for Emergency Plumbing Services. What PAT will do is create duplicates of the videos and change the title of the video to include the targeted city, put in your details (URL and phone number) in the Description and create a banner with the same details inside as well.

Question: How much is each new site? Was that $20 also?

Answer: Each new site only costs you $20 affording you the opportunity to make a huge profit on each site you sell, or provide the option to add it into a package for a local client in a cost effective manner.

 

Question: What about emails? Will your staff move them over also?

Answer: Our staff does handle some technical issues for customers, but are not trained and can not be responsible for moving your client’s email accounts. There are 3 easy option in the back office to setup email. We highly recommend email forwarders as they are the easiest to setup and move for a client.

Question: If we sell the same sites with the same content to many businesses, doesn’t that create problems with Google? I thought Google hated redundant sites?

Answer: No, there is not a duplicate content issue like you see in affiliate marketing. The local space has not seen this concern.

 

Question: Do all templates come with email opt-in forms available?

Answer: Every template has gravity forms built in.

 

Question: Am I correct that full integration with email service providers like MailChimp is easy to do?

Answer: You can integrate with Mailchimp, or any provider you’d like. These are WordPress sites and have the flexibility of a normal WP website.

Question: I understand configuring the the site for a client and using google authorship and google places. But what if we wanted to create a site for local business that we wanted to keep and sell leads through.

Answer: You can adjust the address to whatever you’d like. Authorship may not be used in these cases since it has to be tied to a personal profile in G+ Local.

 

Question: Do I need a mobile website builder with this?

Answer: All of our themes are fully mobile responsive and do not require a mobile add on. However, having a mobile builder as a back up option for a client that just updated their website or doesn’t want to pay for a new site, but still requires a mobile upgrade is a smart idea.

 

Question: Are the changes / customization done in wordpress admin or within weaver elite interface?

Answer: Changes are made in the WP admin area, not the Web Weaver software. There are instructions and documentation in the software on editing the sites.

 

Question: If clients want some custom fields, can I include that?

Answer: Yes, these sites have been built for ease of use, but they are WordPress based and you can edit the content and widgets like any normal WP site.

 

Question: Tell me about the landing page template. How much is is? Is it customizable?

Answer: Site 505 is our landing page template. It is highly customizable and mobile responsive. It is included in the licensing fee and only $20 to build and $20 per month.

To install the WordPress theme, go to the Bonus Tools & Resources section in the Member's area of PPC Income Formula. 

Click on the "Downloads" section of the left side of the page. 

There, you will see a link to download the files you need to install the theme. 

Once you have these files downloaded, you need to go to the cPanel for the URL you want the site installed on. 

You need to create a new database and database user for the site the theme is going on. 

To install the site, extract the 2 files from 'extract_to_your_site.zip' to the root of your site. (IMPORTANT: Make sure you don't have anything installed there already. This will overwrite your current site)

After the two files are uploaded, goto: http://yourdomain.com/importbuddy.php

Select the zip file in the drop-down, and click 'Next'

After the files are extracted, click 'Next'

Most of this next page is filled out. You need to change the 'Database Name', 'Database User', and 'Database Pass' to what you created earlier. 

If you don't know how to create a new database, there is a link on the page that will provide assistance.

(You can test these settings with the Test button)

After that, click Next

Now the site will import the database. After that, you can click next.

The last step is cleaning up the temporary files. After that is done you can log in.

Click the link and add /wp-admin to bring up the login page.

The username and password is: admin / admin

 

 

You will need to open and account with 2captcha.com.

Once you have an account you should be able to find the API key inside the account under 2captcha API section on the top menu.

If you are trying to integrate your ACT with Office Auto Pilot, you need to take the following steps...

First, you must make sure you are running the latest copy of ACT 2.1.2. 

From these, click on "Manage Contacts" under the "AD / VB" tab. 

Once you are in the company whose contacts you want to manage, click on "Edit Contact List" under the "Action Column". 

There, at the top of the screen, you will see the ping URL that you need to setup in Office Auto Pilot. 

Once you are in Office Auto Pilot, you need to click on "Tracking" > "Manage Smart Forms" (bottom of the page) > "Add Smart Form" (name it) > "Settings" > "Add Rule" > "What should happen" > Select "Ping URL" > Click the red "URL" and paste the URL from ACT.

If you have uploaded your whisper file to your mp3 folder (found in your ACT files) in your cPanel file manager, and you are not hearing it when you call tracking numbers are being answered, please consider the following...

Though you may have saved the whisper file as an mp3, it is probable that the source file is, actually, a video file such as an mp4. If this is the case, the recording will not play when the call is answered. 

If you have an mp4 file that you need to convert to an mp3, we recommend using this site to convert the file: http://media.io

Once you have succesfully converted the file to an mp3, you will need to reupload it to your mp3 folder in your cPanel. 

If you have made sure that the file in your ACT company settings is, in fact, and mp3 file that is formatted properly (Example: http://tracking.yoursite.com/mp3/example.mp3), and it is still not playing, please send us a ticket with your ACT URL and login credentials, and make sure to let us know which company is having the problem.  

If you are having issues uploading your mp3 files inside ACT, and your installation is on a previous version of the software such as v.2.5.0. Please see the following...

It is important to make sure you are on the latest version, as we are constantly pushing out updates with new features and bug fixes.

To update to the latest version, inside your ACT, please go to "Admin" > "ACT Settings" > then click the "Change log & Update" button in the top right corner.

From there, simply follow the prompts to update your installation.

After purchasing your upgrade to Enterprise, your ACT may not have the Enterprise features available yet.

This can be fixed simply by hovering over Admin and going to ACT Settings, and then scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking on “Reauthorize Account”. After that, you’ll see a pop up asking if you want to Authorize. Click “Yes”. You’ll see a message that either says you have Enterprise or you don’t have Enterprise.

When you download the PPC Prospector and open it for the first time, you will be asked to enter your purchase email to authenticate the product. 

You are able to do this on up to 3 different computer devices. 

If you are unable to authenticate your PPC Prospector with the email you purchase with, please submit a support ticket. 

If after setting up your WordPress pages, and trying to access the wp-admin page, you receive the following error...

ERROR MESSAGE: "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

Please try the following...

1. This error can also be caused in step 4 of the BackupBuddy install process - where it asks for the database prefix. Instead of changing the prefix "wp_" to your actual prefix of your database, try leaving it as "wp_".

2. Your webhost security settings are too strict. You can contact your webhost, explain what you're trying to do and they should be able to walk you through it. If you're using HostGator you should not have this issue. However, some of the smaller webhost companies have tighter security settings and thus cause this error to happen.

One of these two solutions has worked for every customer we've spoken to that has had this issue. However, new things can and do come up. If neither of these solutions fixes the error, please submit a support ticket. 

Ultimately yes these can be given away as you own PLR rights to them. The only thing you can NOT do is resell any portion of this product in its editable state.
However, we stress to everyone that you should not give this valuable content away just to give it away. Its designed to make you money from the people that tell you no or aren’t quite sure what they want to do yet. 1. Autoresponder Controlled - This is the easiest way to setup a membership site. This is the way to go if you’re using the HTML website option.All you do is customize your site accordingly and then upload all the HTML files to your domain.Then instead of using a membership site script or software program to control the members area you do everything using your autoresponder like Aweber. You setup your autoresponder to send out the monthly emails for you so you don’t have to do it every month. Once you set it up its done! You never have to worry about it again.Here’s how it would flow:1. Edit and customize your pages. 2. Create a Thank You page with your autoresponder op<n form3. Create all the download pages for the individual marketing tutorials. 4. Upload the completed site to your webhost. Create autoresponder messages to be sent every 30-days to each download pageSure there are minor steps for each main step but overall it is very easy to setup and run an Autoresponder Controlled membership site. NOTE: you can use this option when using WordPress sites too. The setup is pretty much the same

 2. Membership Software Controlled - This option tends to be a little more complicated because it requires you to use a third party software or script. Some of the more popular examples are DigitalAccessPass, Wishlist Member or InstaMember. DAP and Wishlist are expensive. We highly recommend InstaMember! It is just as powerful as the others but at a fraction of the cost.This op<on works by using a site created in WordPress. You install the membership site plugin of your choice and configure it to control the members area and the product you create. It wouldn’t make much sense to go into how you configure everything using these different plugins because they all have their own training centers.I will say this op<on presents a more professional image. For some reason, using a members area where the user has to login to get their products and downloads just seems to be more professional and brings with it a higher perceived value.

If you are getting the ERROR - PDOException - Access denied for user


Please check to see that you have a database user created and that the mysql user and password match.


Usually, this is caused by not inserting your cpanel username before your database username


Example:


If your cpanel username is 'restorat' and your database user is 'admin'


Please try using 'restorat_admin' as the database username in config.php

If your search feature does not return any results, and instead just keeps spinning and hanging up, please consider the following...


Many times, additional plugins you have installed on your WP could be interfering with the way DataReach operates. 


First, make sure all of your active plugins are updated to their latest version. If you have done this and DataReach is still not generating any results. Disable all of your plugins except for DataReach and run a test. If it works, you know one of your other plugins is causing the issue. 


If you have done this and DataReach still isn't working. Please let us know and send us over your WP URL and login credentials. 

If you are having trouble authenticating your WPBackup+ Plugin, please check the following...

First, make certain that the plugin is installed at "?file=wp-backup-plus/wp-backup-plus.php". 

You can find this by clicking on "plugins" in your WP backend. 

Then, click "edit" under the WPBP plugin and look at the address bar. 

Again, it should read "?file=wp-backup-plus/wp-backup-plus.php" on BOTH the right hand side of the page under "Plugin Files", and, in the URL.

Once you have made certain the plugin is installed, please do the following...

  1. Deactivate the plugin from WP
  2. Delete the plugin from WP
  3. Reupload the plugin with the correct file name
  4. Doublecheck under "edit settings" to make certain the file name is now correct.

If you are experiencing any of the following issues...

  • Prospector freezes on the "initializing" opening box (never get to see Prospector opened)
  • Prospector freezes on the next page, processing (1/2)
  • Prospector moves on from processing (1/2) and shows 12 results
  • Prospector processes those 12 results but only displays 10 out of 12 -- and exports only 10
  • Prospector processes those 12 results but displays 0, even though it says 12 found.

Please consider the following...

Part of the issue could be that you have a filter and you have a comma in the max field in the settings tab. This needs to be removed.

This could be one reason why your results aren't matching up.

Also, make sure that your internet connection is up and running properly? It shouldn't take very long for the Prospector to initialize.

We also encourage you to close the program and re open after clearing the harvest cookies.

If you have checked all these things and are still experiencing problems with the Prospector, please submit a support ticket.

P.S. You should be running reports and getting your lists together over time, not try to do everything in one day so not to stop you in your tracks if something doesn't work correctly.

If you are trying to generate a report from the PPC Prospector, but are unable to view the colored boxes and are only seeing the percentages, please check the following...

When you are analyzing your results, make sure you do NOT have the expert mode box checked...

 

Additionally, when you generate the reports with the PPC Prospector it actually creates two reports:

1) business_name.html

2) /raw/business_name.html

The file in the "raw" sub directory has the numbers, percentages, yes/no.

Whereas, if you open the regular one you will see the colored boxes.

If you have checked both these things, and are still unable to get the correct report with the colored boxes, please submit a support ticket. 

Problem getting access token from Dropbox

 

This problem can happen when the Google Analytics plug-in is installed in WordPress.

After clicking on the "get access token" link, in the WP Backup Plus settings page, you are taken to a drop box page where you give permission to your app to connect to your dropbox folder by clicking on the "allow" button. The problem is after clicking on the "allow" button you are redirected back to the Google Analytics plug-in in your WordPress installation rather than the WP Backup Plus settings page.

To fix this problem temporarily disable the Google Analytics plug-in before clicking the "get access token" link. You will then be able to get the access token from dropbox correctly. After you get the message "you have successfully retrieved your access token" in the WP Backup Plus settings page you can then re-enable the Google Analytics plug-in.

If you believe you are experiencing issues with the Ring Multiple Numbers ring flow in ACT, please take into consideration the following about how this ring flow is meant to function...

When someone calls and the call flow is set to ring multiple numbers, the outgoing number that answers the first call, will receive all subsequent calls. Even if you later change the phone numbers in the ring multiple numbers setting.

For Example...

If you call the tracking number you have setup from a phone number (X), you will be connected to the company that answers first in your Multiple Numbers List (Y). Every time X calls back to the call tracking number, they will automatically be connected to Y, and none of the other numbers on the list will ring. 

This is a necessary feature so that if a person calls the number again, they get connected to the same company they spoke to originally.

You can test that it's working correctly by calling from a different number and all the phones should ring.

If you still feel that your "Ring Multiple Phone Numbers" ring flow is not operating the way it should, please submit a support ticket. 

When you have multiple numbers selected in your Ring Flow, and a lead calls, whichever number answers that call will ALWAYS get that lead when they call. 

For example, if you have Number 1 and Number 2 in your multiple numbers settings, and a call comes in from Company A that Number 1 answers, Number 1 will ALWAYS get rung when Company A calls.

If you are getting the SEM Rush Error 132 this indicates that you need to purchase more API Units.

To setup your application in your FB developers page, there are a few steps you need to follow...

1. Hit "Create New App"

2. Type a relevant name for your app and choose a category from the dropdown.

3. Next, you need to enter your domain (This is an important step because your Facebook Connect button will not work properly.)

4. Click "Add Platform" > "website"

5. Important step - Enter your top level domain (where you have your DR installed) where your wordpress installation is located (click "save changes")

***It is essential to type in your domain again where your wordpress installation is located at. If App Domains is filled incorrectly you will receive this error: Site URL, Mobile Site URL, CanvasURL, Secure Canvas URL, Page Tab URL or Secure Page Tab URL. This means that your AppDomain does not match the Site URL entered in the last step.The App Domains and Site URL need to be the same. Make sure you have removed the "www" when entering the Site URL***

6. Enable your app by clicking on Status & Review (Click The sliding tab on the right hand side to enable your app. This will turn off development modeand make your app live for use.Skipping this step will cause Data Reach not to function properly)

7. Locate and copy your App ID and App Secret into Data Reach.Click show to reveal your App Secret code.

8. Enter these credentials into your settings in DataReach in your WP and click "test app". 

Once you are logged into your WordPress theme for the first time, you will need to setup your Contact Form pages. 

To do this, please take the following steps...

1. Click on Contacts on the left side of the screen

2. You will need to edit both contact forms, start with the one on top

3. You need to input your email address, the email address from where it's being sent (must have the domain name in the email address), and the subject of the emails

4. Repeat step 3 for the 2nd contact form. 

5. Send a test email to make sure they are going through properly.

shell_exec command

Are you getting this error?

Please ensure that your PHP process can use the shell_exec command.

Fix:

You can try a Google search for "How to enable shell_exec() function" and do it yourself.

Otherwise, if you contact your host, they should be able to enable that command for WP Backup + to function properly. However, there are 10 - 20% servers that won't do it.

This error will occur on some hosts that have disabled the shell_exec command. Most haven't including the major hosting providers such as Hostgator however if you have a shared server, it's likely that this command is disabled.

We have looked into a solution and there is no good alternative to work around shell_exec since its the main function all backup plugins work, you will have the same issue with any other backup plugin you will try on that server if you are in that 10 - 20% that won't support enabling it.

Please ask your host if this is the case. If so, you may want to switch hosts or ask them the best way to backup on that server.

 

Addon Domain: 
If you chose the option to install on an addon domain your DNS may not be set properly.

Solving Errors With Backup                                 

 

1.) I always recommend doing a "Download Backup Now" first to make sure you can download, then you can set up the automatic backup.

 

 

2.) If you are unable to download the backup, try excluding folders as seen in the image attached here that could be making the backup fail and trying downloading again.

 

3.) Repeat the process until you can have a successful backup. It could be a conflict with the many plugins or themes available, a timeout issue, or a server conflict. If you continue to have an issue, please contact us directly.

 

Also, please check with your hosting provider as many times, hosts have issues on their end with certain functions in our product.

If you websites are showing offline in Launchpad one of the reasons would be that you might have SpyderSpanker plugin installed on your website.

SpyderSpanker plugin is known from blocking the connection of the WPBP plugin with the Launchpad platform and dashboard.

Once you deactivate the SpyderSpanker plugin from the Plugin section your website should be up and running in no time.

What are the two types of state laws that govern telephone recording?

  1. All-party notification states (CA, CT, FL, IL, MD, MA, MT, NV, NH, PN, WA)

       (All- party notifications means that both parties participating in a phone call are made aware that the call is being recorded.)

  1. One-party notification states

       (One-party notification means that only one party out of the two on the call are notified that the call is being recorded.)

What are the accepted forms of notification for telephone recording?

  1. Prior or written consent of all parties to the telephone conversation.
  2. Verbal notification before the recording is made.
  3. An audible beep tone repeated at regular intervals during the course of the call.

What does Federal law require for recording telephone calls?

Federal law requires that at least one party taking part in the call must be notified of the recording. Many businesses and other organizations record their telephone calls so that they can prove what was said, train their staff, or monitor performance. This activity may not be considered telephone tapping in some, but not all, jurisdictions because it is done with the knowledge of at least one of the parties to the telephone conversation.

The Telephone recording laws in some U.S. states require only one party to be aware of the recording, while other states require both parties to be aware. It is considered better practice to announce at the beginning of a call that the conversation is being recorded.

For example, at the beginning of a call you could play a brief message that says something to the effect of; “This call will be recorded for quality assurance.”

Temporary Directory Error                          

Wordpress must have write permission over the wp-content/uploads folder. WP Backup Plus needs to create a temp directory there to function.

With most hosts that happens automatically (php scripts have write permission on all files), on more professional hosting / hosting configured with extra safety in mind, php scripts can't write in folders and the user will have to go in and chmod the upload folder at least to 744(0744).  It isn't a problem with the plugin, it's a problem with the Wordpress install.

There are two ways you can solve this...

The first is to ask your host to allow WP Backup Plus to create a "temp" folder inside wp-content/uploads/wp-backup-plus/.

Alternatively, You can add it manually yourself via ftp. Login to your server via ftp and then in wp-content/uploads, create the wp-backup-plus folder, chmod it 777 (change the rights), then go inside that folder, create another folder called temp and chmod it 777. But, this isn't a global solution - just a fix for that one particular site. You can also go to your cPanel and find the "File Manager" and go to wp-content/uploads/wp-backup-plus directory to create the temp folder. If there's already a temp folder, simply select it and then change the permission to 777.

 

If you are inputting a keyword or phrase that is generating results from all across the country, please do the same search in the Google Ad Preview tool and compare the results.

Use the same keyword and set the location to same that was used in the PPC Prospector.

Keep in mind that the PPC Prospector emulates a person doing that keyword search in the location you set.

So, if an advertiser is advertising in that location then they will show up regardless of where they are located.

Please don't think that you should only see businesses that are physically located in the location that you set.

You can upload the same ACT files you used during your initial install on your previous server, or, you can upload a fresh ACT.zip file from the ACT Members Area. 

Once you have all your files uploaded, you will need to import the database you created in step one. 

Go to PHP myAdmin, find the database you created in your new cPanel for ACT, and import the backup of your Database that you created in Step 1. 

 

STEP 3: CARRY ON WITH THE INSTALLATION AS YOU DID ON YOUR PREVIOUS SERVER

Once you have your backup Database imported to your PHP myAdmin, you will proceed with the installation as you did on your previous server.

To change your logo, follow these instructions...

To replace your logos, you will need to go into the file manager in your cPanel for the URL of your site. 

Go to wp-content > images > and find logo.png and footer-logo.png. 

You will need to rename these files (rename them something easy to remember and see like 'logo_old.png and footer-logo_old.png). 

Then, upload the images you want to use as your logo. The main logo needs to be 253x32 and the footer logo needs to be 211x28. 

Once you have them uploaded in your file manager under the "images" file, you will need to rename them "logo.png" (main logo) and "footer-logo.png" (footer logo). 

Refresh the page once this is done, and then go to your site and refresh and you should see your logo images.

If any of your calls are looping, meaning they are ringing once, then ringing again (resulting in multiple "calls" in your call detail page), please check the following...

Make sure your outbound number is not the same as your call tracking number. If you have your outbound number the same as your call tracking number, it will basically just create a loop where no one can answer the phone.

If you are experiencing this issue, and your outbound number is different than your call tracking number, please submit a support ticket.

Server configuration is a very complex topic and varies widely between hosts, server operating systems and even the personal preference of the server administrator. The following are server recommendations for full WP Backup Plus functionality.

  • WordPress 3.4+
  • Write permissions to /wp-content/uploads/ for the user running WP Backup Plus .
    • Backups will be stored in /wp-content/uploads/wp-backup-plus/
    • Temporary files will be stored in /wp-content/uploads/wp-backup-plus/temp/xxxxxxx/ (temporarily generated at each backup)
  • Free disk space equal to or greater than the entire size of your site once compressed.
    • SuPHP or environment so that file operations/zip run as user to prevent permissions issues.
    • PHP exec() function enabled
    • PHP ZipArchive class installed
  • Linux (Apache; Some Litespeed server setups have broken performance inhibiting WP Backup Plus):
    • Command-line zip installed and accessible via exec().
  • Windows (only supported for local development via Apache; IIS is not officially supported):
    • Windows zip executable (available here)
      • You must have the ability to configure your server to allow execution of this zip.exe file for it to function.
      • File permissions must also be set to allow access and execution of the zip executable.
  • wp-config.php file must be in WordPress installation directory OR (starting with WP Backup Plus v2.0) in the parent directory.

  • wp-config.php file must be in WordPress installation directory OR (starting with WP Backup Plus v2.0) in the parent directory.

When you install Yoast Wordpress SEO on a Wordpress site that has LBT, Yoast will try to override the meta description that LBT has already set.

When this happens, you can make one of the following changes to correct this.

  A. Use the meta description LBT has already set.

If you want to use LBT, you would need to deactivate the Yoast plugin.

  1. Go to WP-admin > Plugins > Look for WordPress SEO by Team Yoast.

  3. Once deactivated and the page refreshes, click on Delete http://screencast.com/t/svAHZNixwuw9

 

  B. Use meta description from Yoast.

If you choose Yoast, you can override the meta description by going to

  1. WP-admin > SEO > Click on “Fix It” in the error prompt. http://screencast.com/t/zlokfir3ti

If you see a zip archive not installed error under Compatibility tab, you will need to login to your cPanel and then click "Select PHP Version"

Check the box next to "Zip" and then hit Save.
